Commercial Bay is Auckland’s newest retail, hospitality and commercial district.
Located in the heart of downtown Auckland, the 30 storey PwC Tower has amazing views across the city and out to the Waitematā Harbour.
At the base of the tower sit the laneways, a sleek and stylish retail space with open air vibes, reminiscent of the famous Melbourne laneways. Spreading across three storeys and 20,000m², these are occupied by over 100 retailers including an international food hall, quality retail space, and some of the best bars and eateries Auckland has to offer.
Precinct Properties appointed 22 Degrees as their recommended fitout consultant. We were engaged to provide a range of services over a multitude of tenancies ranging from small food outlets, to high end fashion retailers.
With solution focused planning, we coordinated with the base build layouts to ensure everything worked efficiently and effectively. Many of the tenancies needed commercial kitchen extraction, requiring us to provide innovative electrostatic cleaning to the extract systems.
The nationwide lockdown also provided its share of challenges, with the majority of construction coordination taking place over that time. With effective communication and some re-working of internal processes, our team continued to provide the same level of service to our clients who all successfully opened their tenancies on schedule.
