The project at Newton Central School involved constructing a modern, two-storey classroom block with six classrooms. Initial works included relocating two single-storey classroom blocks to a designated area to maintain ongoing teaching facilities.
The scope of work included major timber piled foundations and a concrete structure, with the ground floor consisting of a suspended precast slab. The new building features open learning spaces, a kitchen, teachers’ room, and toilet facilities.
