About Tarawera High School

Tarawera High School is situated on the shore of the Tarawera River and under the mountain of Putauaki in the small town of Kawerau, Bay of Plenty. The design reflects Kawerau’s unique culture, history and landscape whilst modernising the school’s facilities and has created additional space to accommodate a growing student population.
