The project involves the redevelopment of the Totara Buildings located at the existing Elizabeth Knox Home + Hospital in Epsom. The development incorporates the latest research in aged care development with the construction of 64 bedrooms which connect directly to the 8 residential lounges, laundry and staff facilities. The resultant fire designs involved technical mechanical systems that integrated with the fire protection systems and fit within the tight building constraints.
