The Whanganui Collegiate Administration Building, is a key component of the masterplan for one of New Zealand’s oldest and most prestigious secondary schools. This new structure houses the school’s administration and student services in one central location.

The building features three prominent gables, which house generous spaces suited for mixed use, including offices, meeting rooms, and bathrooms. The design emphasises minimal impact on the architecture, with refined and effective building services. Materiality was a significant consideration, leading to the use of crafted brickwork and expansive glazing to allow natural light and maintain a connection to the school’s heritage.
