This project involved the redevelopment of the existing rest home facility at CHT Bernadette Care Home & Hospital in Mount Maunganui. Situated close to Bayfair Shopping Centre, parks, libraries, and churches, the development added 44 new residences to both the rest home and hospital facilities, along with 12 new common areas.
The existing rest home remained operational during the works, which were divided into three stages. The project included demolishing parts of the existing buildings and extending them to accommodate the facility’s growth.
